What is a fixed price electricity contract?
Our fixed price electricity contracts provide your business with the benefit of locking in your electricity rate for an agreed-upon period of time. During this time, your electricity rate will not increase. Fixed price electricity can help you plan your budget projections more accurately and protect your bottom line from rising energy costs.
Our contracts are typically available in terms up to 36 months. The terms and conditions of your contract may vary based on regional legislation and your individual usage profile.
Will my electricity service change?
Your electricity service will continue seamlessly, but we offer your business an additional level of account support.
- Your electricity supply is still delivered to your business by the local distribution company or utility in your service area.
- This local distribution company or utility will continue to provide maintenance, read your meter and respond to emergency service calls.
- Direct Energy Business is responsible for securing your electricity supply at a competitive rate and committing to that rate in your contract.
