Nick Henn

Vice President, Canadian Operations

Nick Henn is Vice President of Canadian Operations for Direct Energy Business. Nick has been in the energy industry for nine years, working both in the UK and North America with Direct Energy and its UK parent company, Centrica plc., before joining Direct Energy Business in early 2011.

During his time at Direct Energy, Nick has held a number of senior-level roles within the Legal group. Most recently, Nick managed Direct Energy’s North American Legal and Government & Regulatory Affairs group, with responsibility for all legal and regulatory issues affecting Direct Energy’s customer-facing businesses in the US and Canada.

Prior to joining Centrica and Direct Energy, Nick worked as an attorney in a large international law firm, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions and restructurings. He has lived and worked in Asia, Europe and North America.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Southampton in the UK and completed his legal training at the College of Law, Chester, UK. He has also completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School and is a qualified lawyer in the UK and Hong Kong.

Nick lives with his wife and three children in Toronto, Canada.
